We did not begin our journey in certainty.
At first, my heart was still learning to heal — still finding a way to gently close the pages of the past before opening a new one. I hesitated, not because love felt wrong, but because I wanted to be truly ready to honor it.
And then, he came.
Not with haste, nor promises painted in rush — but with patience, sincerity, and the quiet kind of presence that brings peace rather than pressure.
Six months passed, filled with reflection and prayer. Through istikharah, Allah gifted me a calmness so deep and steady that it became my answer. Not in signs or dreams, but in a heart that finally felt sure.
On April 12, 2025, he came with his family — a gentle declaration of commitment and intention. That day, two families began to meet, and two hearts stepped closer to a shared future.
And with gratitude and hope, we chose November 29, 2025 as the day we begin the longest and most beautiful form of worship: marriage.
This is not merely about becoming husband and wife,
but about walking side by side —
growing, learning, and loving with sincerity,
guided always by faith and by Allah’s mercy.
Here’s to a journey that starts with prayer, is held by trust,
and, insyaAllah, lasts a lifetime.
